Luck is 8/10 preparedness and 2/10 - well - luck. I went for a short photo walk this afternoon to East Point Park Bird Conservation area. The snow was deep and the birds were few. Lol. Turns out they are much more present when the feeders are full. They weren’t. As I was trudging back to the car through calf-deep snow, I spotted a couple chickadees and juncos (I think). As I watched them, I was able to switch back to my long lens. Mr. Cardinal then made a brief appearance. I think they all thought I had birdseed (note to self). I managed to get about 6 frames before this fellow flew off. This is one of the two I like.
