Adobe has a special designation for some schools and we call it "Creative Campus." These schools are making a conscious effort to move the needle in terms of digital literacy, by ensuring equal access to Adobe Creativity tools and also by implementing them in some way into the curriculum.
For these schools - and for ones we are hoping to bring into the fold - we offer a quarterly event called the Creative Campus Collaboration; A day of inspiring presentations by faculty, students and graduates, followed by a day of learning, where each participant gets the chance to "get their hands dirty," by creating some sort of educational artifact they can use, or build on for the classroom.
However, before all the learning and inspiration, we start the event off with an evening reception. This has been challenging, to say the least, in the shadow of the pandemic, but our marketing lead always comes up with a fun, interactive group activity. This time, we were guided in the process of hand-making a pizza, with a package of ingredients shipped to each of us. Turning that dough ball into a flat place to put ingredients was both challenging and fun!
In the end, we all had a great dinner to share with our families.
