Photographed through the glass ceiling of our solarium, this young Cooper’s Hawk was perched in our chestnut tree. Kudos to my wife for spotting this beautiful creature. Converted to black and white to make it easier to deal with reflections in the glass. I tried to sneak outside for a better photo but the hawk bolted as soon as I put my head out the door.
